NameSenseChoose a provider and model
In Settings, choose a provider and enter your API key, endpoint, and model. Configurations include OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, SiliconFlow, OpenRouter, MiniMax, and DeepSeek, plus compatible custom endpoints.
Match the model to your files
Text documents can use compatible text models. Direct visual analysis needs suitable vision capabilities. Custom services must implement a supported API protocol. NameSense does not install or host models for you.
Check your connection first
Verify your key permissions, endpoint, and model name, then use the connection check in Settings. A responding service does not guarantee that every file and model combination can be analyzed.
Review the data-sharing scope
Before sending content to a destination for the first time, the app displays its data-sharing disclosure. Requests may include extracted text, images or document previews, and permitted filename details. Changes to the destination or scope may require renewed consent.
Keys, charges, and failures
API keys are stored in the Mac Keychain. Provider charges are separate and Pro does not include model credits. If you hit rate limits, timeouts, or an unavailable model, check provider usage and settings, then retry a small batch.
