NameSenseEach part has a purpose
Common parts include the original filename, fixed text, filename segments, counters, dates, and the parent folder. Metadata parts include image dimensions, capture dates, and PDF title, author, and page count, depending on the file.
Arrange parts and choose a separator
Try Date — Title — Counter. Move parts to change their order, adjust each part’s format, check the example preview, and save the rule. The example shows the structure; actual generated results still need review.
AI parts add content clues
AI parts can provide a title, summary, author, publisher, keywords, description, or a custom field. Categories can be generated freely or selected from a list you provide.
Plan for missing information
Set appropriate length limits, required fields, and fallback behavior. Do not expect a model to supply an author absent from the document. Validate a rule on a small batch before using it more widely.
